Robert Wayne "Bobby" Jones
Born October 11, 1951 in Hagerstown he was the son of the late, Thurman Calvin and Thelma Virginia (Snodderly) Jones.
Bobby worked as a truck driver and dock worker for Rider P.I.E., truck driver and delivery for Coca-Cola and assembly line and maintenance for Volvo, all of Hagerstown.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hagerstown; Loyal Order of Moose, Hagerstown and Williamsport; Williamsport Redmen, Conococheague Tribe #84; Teamsters Local 992, Sharpsburg, Md.; United Auto Workers Local 171, Hagerstown and the Auto Racing Club of Hagerstown.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann (Mertz) Jones; three children, Daniel W. Jones and wife, Leslie, Bradley S. Jones and partner, Hope Daughtery and Leslie Ann Casey and husband, Dale; one sister, Bernice Ann Wolfensberger and husband, David; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Steven Wilt officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 P.M.
