Roger Dale Baker

Roger Dale Baker, 73, of Maugansville, passed away Thursday, February 8th 2024, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.

Born April 4, 1950, he was the son of the late Earl Patrick and Gertrude Virginia (Jordan) Baker.

He was a 1968 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.

Roger had retired from ARC of Washington County and had previously worked at Mack Truck, was a member of Maugansville Fire Department since age 16 and he served in the Army reserves

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Terry Ann (Smith) Baker, a son
Roger Baker II; daughters Tracy Divelbliss and Cathy Goodman; sister Cathy Bergman and husband Lee; brother Rusty Baker and wife Joanne, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren (another due in July).

A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Maugansville Bible Brethren 17904 Binkley Ave, Maugansville, MD 21767 with pastor Chad Carter officiating. Military honors will follow by the Veterans Combined Honor Guard Marine Corp League.

Roger was loved by all who knew him.
