Ruth Catherine Welty

Ruth Catherine (Hose) Welty, of Hagerstown, MD, died and went to be with her Lord and Savior September 26th, 2021, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.
Born January 23, 1932, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lewis J. Hose Sr. and Emma L. (Speilman) Hose. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee E. Welty Sr.
She was an active member of Evangel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters; Deborah A. Gladhill and Kathy M. Welty, and her two sons; Lee. E. Welty Jr and Robert D. Welty, along with nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, six great great grand-children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers; Harry M, Russel L, Lewis J, and Charles A.
A Memorial service will be held AT 11 AM Thursday September 30th, 2021. at Evangel Baptist Church, 17922 Broadfording Road, Hagerstown, MD,
