Sharon Ann Heiberger

Sharon Ann Heiberger, 76, of Hagerstown, MD passed away, on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Meritus Medical Center. Born on May 24, 1947, in Buckhannon, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James and Lela (Tharp) Strubel.

Sharon graduated from South Hagerstown High School class of 1964. She was employed at Motor Trucks Service and the State of Maryland as a secretary in the administration office. She retired from her position with the state. She loved her cats and enjoyed genealogy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Robert Strubel, nephew, Nathan Lent, and in- laws Harry and Margaret Heiberger.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Heiberger of 59 years; sisters Sandra Brown and Linda Lent; brothers, Ronald Strubel and James Strubel and wife Debbie; several nieces and nephews and a very good friends for many years, best friends Sheryl Ebersole and Karen Wetzel.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held Friday, September 1, 2023, 6:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD. 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-6 P.M.
