Sherry Gay Craig

Sherry Gay Craig, 80, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away at her home on December 21, 2023, at her home with her family by her side.  She was the wife of Joseph Edward Craig Jr.

Born on May 29, 1943, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Forest Richwine and Harriet Zelene (Clark) Richwine. Sherry was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed collecting photos family and friend. She loved to play cards and was always the secret card “Shark”, she was a “collector” of random catalogs away’s having a vintage 1970’s edition to present. She loved trips to the beach, especially in Ocean City during recent years with her family.

She is survived by her husband Joseph; son Joseph Edward Craig III and wife Wendy; daughter, Zelena Ann-Renee Martin; and grandchildren Alexandra S. Martin, Hunter G. Craig, Hayden J. Craig and Henry E. Craig.

A graveside service will be held in Rest Haven Cemetery on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 1PM, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.

Immediately following the family will receive friends at the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren, 15 S. Mulberry Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
