Shirley Lou Yeakle

Shirley Lou Yeakle, 84, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at her home.

Born December 15, 1937, in Clear Spring, Md., she was the daughter of the late, Calvin and Pearl Natalie (Martin) Repp. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her 1st husband, George D. Yeakle; 2nd husband, Carl W. "Pappy" Hampton; grandson, Eric L. Hines; six siblings, Regina, Joyce, Jack, Junior, Percy and Don and a brother-in-law, Hermie Weaver.

Ms. Yeakle retired as a manager for Budget Bakery and previously had worked for Holsom and Buttercrust Bakery's.

She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed family vacations at Myrtle Beach.

Ms. Yeakle is survived by two daughters, Vicki L. Hines and husband, Steve and Lori Y. Magner and husband, Rick; one grandson, Shawn A. Hines and wife, Jill; three great grandchildren, Karlee, Brandyn and Landon; one sister,Darlene Weaver and her best friend, Clarence and a nephew, Todd Weaver and family.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Chad Carter officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday two hours prior to the service.
