Troy Dwayne Cregger, Sr. 55, of Hagerstown, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, unexpectedly at home. Born on March 10, 1968, in Frederick, Maryland. He was the son of the late Lenard Burton Cregger Sr. and Mary Jane (Fogle) Cregger.

Everyone knew they would have a good time if they saw Troy coming in his bibs. They also knew they couldn’t judge a book by its cover because he was a kind hearted soul. Per his wife, Stacy, he was a loyal, loving, and understanding man. He was her rock. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, hunting, and camping. Camping was enjoyed by many family members and friends. There was always at least 5-6 families camping together. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. His character dictated the future of many people as well as his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Stacy Lee Cregger; children; Troy D. Cregger Jr. and wife Toni of Big Run, PA, Kayla L. Cregger of Beartown, PA, grandchildren; Bella Cregger, Khloe Myers, Troy Cregger 3rd, Gavin Cregger, Lucy Cregger, Karleigh Myers, Cyrus Cregger, and Waylon Cregger; brother Lenard B. Cregger Jr. and wife, Faith of Oxford NC, and sister, Jeannie Hilderbrand of Hagerstown, MD. He is also leaving behind many family and friends, to include Calvin and Tiffany Barger and children of Inwood, WV, and the brothers of the IOMC. He is also leaving behind a special nephew that was raised with him like his brother, Rick Cregger.

In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Lee Harper and a brother-in-law, Sonny Hilderbrand.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
