Veronica "Vera" Patricia Yeakle, 91, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Ravenwood Assisted Living, Hagerstown.
Born January 17, 1931, in Ithan, PA, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Isabella (McAnany) McKeown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Paul Benjamin Yeakle.
She is survived by one son, Paul Yeakle of Roanoke, VA; three daughters, Barbara A. Gaver and husband James E. Gaver, Jr. of Mrytle Beach, SC, Kathy S. Sellers and husband Greg Sellers of Boonsboro, MD, and Sharon D. Phillips and husband William R. Phillips of Seminole, FL; 12 grandchildren, Jamie Mittel and husband Travis, Christine Yeakle, Kyle Yeakle, Chris Ricker and wife Tori, Scott Ricker and wife Brittany, Shaun Ricker, Matthew Sellers and wife Teresa, Patrick Sellers and wife Katie, Veronica Shetler and husband Corey, Samantha Marville and husband Shane, Josh Phillips and wife Caroline, and Hannah Phllips. Veronica is further survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
