Victoria (Vickie) Ann Mitchell

Victoria ( Vickie ) Ann Mitchell, 74, of Hagerstown, died on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center after a brief illness.
 
              Born January 10, 1947 in Hagerstown, Vickie was the daughter of the late Edna Marie Strausbaugh and William D. Mitchell, Sr.
 
              Vickie worked throughout the years in the Computer/IT world with companies such as Life & Casualty Life Insurance in Nashville, TN and Catalina Clothing in Los Angeles, CA. Vickie will be remembered as a caring, loving sister.
 
              Vickie enjoyed sports cars throughout her life owning several Ford Mustangs yet always wanting a Red Corvette. She extensively traveled throughout the US, but also went abroad to England, France, and Italy.
 
              Vickie is survived by a sister, Beverly K. Mitchell of Winchester, TN, and a brother, William D. Mitchell, Jr. and wife Catherine of Loudon, TN; a nephew, Keith D. Filson and wife Kim and two great-nieces Kaitlyn O. Filson and Kristin R. Filson. Vickie was also preceded in death by a nephew Steve T. Filson.
 
              Visitation and services will be conducted at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel and Cemetery on Thursday, August 12, 2021, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. in Hagerstown. Friends and family will be welcome at 10:00am in the Chapel, followed by  interment at 11:00am.
