Warren Barr Wolf

Warren Barr Wolf, Sr., 86, of Zullinger, Pennsylvania went home to be with Jesus, on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at his home.
Born June 15, 1928, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late, Barr W. and Lillian I. (Hoffman) Wolf. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie (Jenkins) Wolf on November 24, 1987.
Mr. Wolf was an veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps having achieved the rank of Sergeant. He spent time with the occupational forces in Japan and served on Guam where he worked in cryptography.
He retired as a welder and crimper with the Pangborn Corporation, Hagerstown.
He was a member of Otterbien Church, Waynesboro, Pa. where he belonged to the helping hands Sunday School class.
Mr. Wolf is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Ruth N. (Cowan) Wolf; one son, Warren B. Wolf, Jr.; one step daughter, Carol Jean Aleshire; two step sons, Jeffrey and Donald Simmers; eight grandchildren and one sister, Sylvia Kline.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 1, 2104 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor John Hoffman officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to services.
