Rest Haven Cemtery's Annual Memorial Day Celebration
Monday, May 27, 2013The community is invited to Rest Haven Cemetery’s annual Memorial Day Celebration on Monday, May 27th. Over 300 American Flags – donated by the families of Veterans – will be flown throughout the day to honor the Veterans, their families and loved ones. This event will begin at 11:00am with a bagpipe rendition of “Amazing Grace” followed by a stirring performance of “Echo Taps”. At 11:30am, the well known Appalachian Wind Quintet will perform its Annual Concert, The performance will be held at the top of the hill adjacent to Rest Haven’s Funeral Home and Chapel. Come join us and celebrate Memorial Day in our lovely, peaceful setting!
